Max Size 19's Volk Rims!

Hello All,

I have just registered and new to the forum.

I am from Sydney, Australia and i own a Black Rx8.

I am planning to get some rims in the next two weeks. I was wondering if anyone would know what is the best size in 19's that fit well, fat, and not scrubbing on the RX8?. Also can i get some help on the front and rear offset.
So far i am looking at Front: 19x8.5, Rear 19x9.5.

Your help and thoughts would help me alot.

Once again thanks and hope to hear from you guys soon.

Cheers

you'll most like not get too much of a response to this question. it has already been asked many times in this forum. since you're new, try using the search function or take a look at some of the stickies. hope that helps.

I use a +37 offset on my rear wheel which is a 19x9.5 w/ a 275/30/19 tire. I had to roll my fender when I lowered the car but no rubbing when I was at stock height. +40 to +50 should be fine for the rear if you don't want any rubbing issues even when lowered.

The front I have is a +36 offset on a 19x8.5 w/ a 245/35/19 tire and ive never had any rubbing issues whatsoever. If you're looking at 19x8.5 for the front you could go with something around a +34 or higher and I don't think you're going to run into any issues. People on this forum run 9.5" wide wheels on the fronts with 275 width tires so don't worry about front fitment too much.

Thanks. I have got my wheels and was wondering if i should have gone 19x9.5 all around?. If i replace the fronts from 19x8.5 to 19x9.5 will that create and scrubbing or other problems? I will dropping the car about 1.5inches as well. Thanks

you will need to roll your fenders if you want to fit 9.5 at the front
