Hello everyone.
I have a 99' FRC with 92,000 miles, and I just installed the APS twin turbo kit a several months ago.

The turbo kit has about 200 miles on it which is apparent when you get under the car and see the color of the turbos and downpipes. I did not financially plan ahead when I built this car, as I have a less flashy daily driver that I will be keeping for sure. I moved to LA and dont have the money to finish paying this car off. I do have the pink slip on hand, but I owe my parents the rest of the money- they loaned me the money and put the pink slip under my name.

-APS Twin Turbo kit with approx. 200 miles on it, $8,000
-Custom billet reverse pattern turbo cam from Synergy, $400
-317 low-compression heads (9.6:1), $450
-PRC Gold dual valve springs, titanium retainers, $250
-Textralia OZ700 clutch, Steel Billet flywheel, smoother X-grip disk, $1,000
-Mototron 60 lb/hr fuel injectors, $400
-KB BAP for fuel delivery, $220
-Autometer carbon fiber servo-driven boost gauge with custom set
overboost warning light and other cool features, $180
-LA Performance Division (very reputable) 2-bar/speed density tune, $850
-New 02 sensors, $180
-Head & valve cover gaskets, head and crank bolts, wire harness's, cam & crank gaskets, ....etc. $200
-B&M quiet short throw shifter, $150 + $70 for shift knob
-Stinger type chamber-less exhaust, $450

The car made 561 rwhp, 545 rwtq @7.8 PSI

I am interested in trading for a RX-8 plus $10-12K. This would allow me to payoff my debt. I have also posted on other sites, as I want to sell to anyone, or trade for any cool lower-priced car. If you have a $10K-15K priced rx-7, 350Z, cobra, srt-4...that you want to trade plus money let me know. Depending on who you take it to for labor, this car would cost around $32K to build with a stock 99 FRC. I dont expect to get all that back. I am open to offers, so dont be timid.

I am also selling it outright for $24,000 for anyone that wants another car. My number 1 priority is paying this car off.

Call me any time of the day:

I'm sure that is a hell of a quick car but 10k + an RX-8? or outright for 24k? you are only going to give someone 14k for their RX-8? I think you have some re-evaluation to do there, but G/L with the sale.

Seriously, a 99 FRC is probably worth 18? The turbo and aftermarket mods aren't going to net another 8-10K.

Ok, Im definately open to opinions. I do believe that my car is worth $24K. It hardly has 200 miles on it since the remodeling and I spent around $30K without any labor except tuning.

As for the worth of an RX-8, I was under the impression that an earlier model was worth $12-15K. I almost bought one a while back for $14K, with 60K miles, but I backed out after reading about the flooding and engine probs. I have since decided that I dont really care about that since I have another daily driver and I just want to pay off my debt. I do agree though that no one should give their RX-8s away. I merely observed that many of them sell for vary cheap.

If anyone wants to make an offer, I wont be offended if its in your favor. I just want to see whats out there and get rid of my debt.

By the way, I really really like the RX-8s and I didnt mean to offend anyone. I am just basing my numbers on my personal experience when I was looking for a car a while back.

seems like a reasonable attitude. That's probably a really fun car to play with. Good luck.
