Well like the title says has anyone have it or tried it? If so what are your impressions about the filter? If you don't know what it is heres a link to their website http://www.trufilter.com/why.htm. Maybe you experts out there can shed some light on this and maybe your opinion on using this type of filter too.

It seems like a lot of work compared to just replacing filters the conventional way. They cost about $160 so for that I can get over 30 conventional filters which is about 15 years for me (I put <6,000 miles/yr on my car). Even if you change oil every 3 months it'll still be 7-1/2 years before the cost benefit is seen and that does NOT take into account the solvent you'd need to buy to clean it. YMMV.
