Question Dealerships that will buy my car from me?

My company is relocating me overseas and I am not able to bring a car with me, so it is with great sadness that I must sell my 8.

The company will give me an allowance to cover the loss from selling the car, so I'd rather find a dealer that will take it off my hands than have to go through the hassle of selling it myself. Unfortunately we don't have Carmax here, so what's the next best thing?

Assuming it's an RX-8 Take it to a Mazda Dealership. Just about ANY of them will buy it from you. I sold mine to Doug's went well.

I've gotten emails from both Royal Moore and Herzog Meier claiming a low stock on used Mazdas and asking me to trade in my 8. Maybe you could give them a call if you don't mind driving to Oregon.

Or tell the company to stuff it and find a job that doesn't require you to sell your car. I know, probably not a realistic option for you, but that's what I'd do, in a heart beat.

I'm pretty sure that isn't just an advertising ploy to bring you in to look at new cars...

Oh, don't get me wrong... while it sucks that I have to sell my baby, I wouldn't be going if I didn't want to. Besides, even if they did offer to ship the car, I'm not sure I want to be driving a LHD car on the "wrong" side of the road.

But if you know anyone who might be interested, it is a late build 2004 with only 12k miles, all recalls done and never any problems, and no dents/dings/paintwork ever. Absolutely beautiful condition inside and out.

I would give craigslist a try as well. We sold our Honda in less than 24 hours.
