i saw about 4 seconds of a 6 commercial last night.there was the sound of an engine starting and i looked up from my newspaper and there was a tach on the screen and the needle moved up towards the redline as the engine was revved. then the screen went dark and the mazda6 logo came ont the screen. that was it. if there was any thing shown from outside the car it must have been before i looked up :(

I think Mazda is doing teaser ads right now, and will spool up more complete ads as the car becomes more available.

Some large places already have them, and the likelihood of your dealership having the car seems to decrease as you get further and further from Detroit.

Apparently, Cincinnati, Detroit, New York, and Atlanta have some on lots. I don't know of anyone out west who has any yet.

Pretty cool how the tach needle winds out to 6k and the Mazda name fades in to become "Mazda6". Definitely gets your attention with that exhaust growl.

Argh! I watched a lot of TV last night to no avail. I don't think the commercial(s) has hit the canadian networks yet.

I saw 2 different commercials last night. Both short teasers. At 10pm PST on NBC right before Law & Order came on.

Saw both commercials last night,
First one was the tach one with the camera watching it wind through the gears and had an awesome mazda growl. Second one was the typical mazda 90's style in a surrealistic desert and has the 6 powersliding across the lakebed and when seen from high altitude shows theat the powerslide forms a nice long number 6. (or a 9 depending on how you look at it:D )

The tach commercial engine growl reminded me of the 8 from S5 banquet.
