Are all the cables and stuff constantly hooked up to the TV? I love how it's mounted on the wall and there's no cables. Just wondering.

OT: I can tell the difference!

There is only 1 cable going from the TV to the receiver. HDMI. The cable runs through the walls and the receiver does all of the signal switching forcing everything to HDMI. Everything is hooked up, STB, DVD, 360, Wii and the receiver itself via that 1 cable. It's simply awesome :)
I have an outlet behind the TV with a 2 outlet monster surge protector to plug the TV in.

You don't have white gloves on the arm rest in the first pictures.

Haha.. The white gloves actually came with the speakers.. every box I opened had a set. The speakers were in white cloth bags as well.

What kind of speakers are those? The center channel is a monster. Looks like you may need to upgrade the sub :)

The speakers are Onix Rockets by www.av123.com
The center has apparently been nicknamed bigfoot. The guys who make the speakers just started showing pics of the new version which people are calling everything from hammerhead to cyclops to the beast as it actually incorporates 2 8" woofers.

Yes, the sub there sucks.. Their new sub isn't out yet. I've got the pre-order price on it for 500 and it's a 15" woofer in a ported box with a big amp. sounds like it'll be loud.

av123 for the f'in win. I'm currently waiting for their new line of x-series to finish off my basement theater set up. Those rockets look a little close to each other :) ... Hehe

They are a little close to eachother.. Lol. The unfortunate problem is the couch is a little big and if I moved them to where they need to be, it'd obstruct the left channel. My receiver has audyssey level and distance matching though so it's compensating just fine for it. Eventually they'll be moved about 1-2" out from the center.

What receiver are you running now? Cables? :)

Onkyo TX-SR875
HDMI to the monitor
HDMI from the STB to the receiver
HDMI from DVD to the receiver
Component from 360 to the receiver
Component from Wii to the receiver

Everything is upconverted by the 875 to 1080p by the Reon VX video processor, so even the Wii is 1080p.

Thanks :) I've waited a long time to do this. I had to buy a house first and then it's been something new every month. The speakers were the last purchase. I still need to mount the rear channels.
