She's had it for 3 freakin' weeks. I helped her pick it out... 07 Galaxy Gray, 2.3l Sport, moonroof, 17" wheels, and side skirts. I love the car... probably more than she does. I was working on the RX8 last night and noticed 3 big gouges in the passenger rear quarter. A big chunk of paint missing on the the metal portion which is one piece all the way up the roof and forms the A pillar. There's a dent at the seam of the rear bumper and a big gouge in the bumper itself. I called her down to look at it... that's the first time I've seen fire in her eyes.
She's a teacher at a local school but she covers her car everyday... it had to have happened at the grocery store. Either another car did this or an extremely fast moving cart... stupid f*in people have no damn respect.
What are the options to the body experts out there. The chip in the paint is down to the metal so that will rust. The gouge in the bumper has left a wrinkle which would need to be sanded down to paint... but what would they do... clear the entire thing? Is there a way to spot clear after painting? I know they can feather paint an area to match but clearing is another story.
