That's cause not many have found it and logged onto it yet! ;)

No, really, great job BOOSTD, seems like everything went real smooth.

There's still a lot of performance tuning left to be done ... so it should get even faster. The load balancers are adding a bit of latency into things, which is why images sometimes take a second to load. Once that it ironed out, this site (along with rx7club.com) will be some of the fastest forums on the net.

I'm new to forums. But since I found this one I've been checking out others. No contest. It looks great and the general tenor of the discussion is (usually) great.

And thanks for the new server Boostd. It rocks.

So far so good!

What load balancers are you using? Is it software based, hence the latencies?

BTW, where can I donate some funds to this board? ;)

We're using hardware load balancers ... redundant F5 Networks Big-IP's. You can make a donation to paypal ryan@rx7club.com if you want, thanks!

Thanks dude! The donations were KEY to making this happen in the first place. The amount of support we received was amazing ... made me feel really good.

Nice job on the server speed but is anyone else experiencing pages where the photos simply won't load? Maybe its just me.

i was beginning to think this was a forum problem but now i think it is an IE6 problem. i started to have more and more problems over the last few days waiting for pages to finishing loading and it was usually stuck on a gif. when i started to experience it no matter where i was on the net i tried reloading IE6 and now i am not having any problems at all. even the header on the top of this forum just loads right up.

Am I the only one seeing incorrect timestamps on everything? The old server had the times correct, but this one appears to be living one hour in the future. I'm posting this at 12:41 CDT.

i think you are correct. i just set my time to eastern time in options and it's an hour ahead.

Hey weird - I was seeing that too, but it was for the last couple of nights - prior to the server changeover.

Like zoom44 said later it also affects other sites and goes away if I close and reopen IE. I just set up a new computer and I was going to reinstall it in case something was jacked up with the ie installation. Tonight, however, it has not exhibited the behaviour (yet).

Simon.

Hey, this forum rocks now. Like I go to a thread and don't have to sit and watch the pix draw; they are there instantly when the page appears. Jammin! Everyone who said that drawing pix was slow your comments were from yesterday; does it seem to be working better for y'all today? I'm on warp drive here. Well done, Boost!
