Hi Everyone
We're conducting a High Performance Training and Track Driving Day at Broadford on Monday 10th December
We will be running the day as an 'open pit lane' day, but we will also have 4 qualified (Certificate 3 and 4) instructors with lots of experience.
We also provide lunches, tea / coffee / soft drinks / cake !!, flaggies and Racesafe medical / rescue crew.

You do not need a CAMS or ASSA licence to participate in our High Performance Training and Track Driving Days

The format we run to is: 3 groups of ten drivers, twenty minutes of track time per hour.
Start time is 8.30 am for safety briefing, track is open from 9.00 am until 4.00pm

Cost is $285.00 per driver.

Check with your insurance company, they may cover you for one of our training days.

Unfortunately yes. The last place I recall it was giving my money to Kevin before lunch. I put it back on my "bench" and it wasnt there when I packed up (didnt realise until I got to the servo to fill up in Eltham).

I didnt get to ask you how the Civic went???

A real bummer about the wallet. I would hate to think someone swiped it!

The Civic went fine. I was able to keep with the 2 highly modded DC5's there with mine being basically stock so I was pretty happy about that.

I did suffer a fair amount of understeer all day so I will have to save for an LSD. The car is really screaming for one on a tight circuit like that.

Bugger!I've been saying that a fair bit over the past few days :(

I have to say though that I REALLY enjoyed Monday. Weather was fantastic. Company was great!

I managed to shave nearly 2 sec off my best and run those times consistantly on clear runs.

Came SOOO close to taka's time but try as I might I couldnt better it :scratchhe . Calipers are on order so watch out :p:

I got to see some more turbo'd rx-8's in action and they ran great. A nur-spec R34 shooting foot long flames down the main straight!

What more can you ask for!

The video is still somewhere in the camera. So busy at work I have not really had time to even scratch an itchy left nut :scared:

I have downloaded it to the computer at least only to find that all the high def footage came out to over 100gig! Some of the in car footage viewed in HD looks pretty good though!

Thats it...I wanna watch the video to help me find the 0.5 sec I need to catch you with your BIG ASS brakes!

takahashi
12-15-2007, 04:27 AM
It is all about the right foot.

auzoom
12-15-2007, 04:35 AM
hmmm, I think thats not the only thing. I think there is the brakes issue, the right foot issue and the issue of having the...balls... to use the right foot more.

Thinking about it today actually I am wondering about a new line fo rthe Main straight entry...Have to wait until next time to try it.

Back home on my computer in Melbourne which is 650km away from me at the moment.

I am in Canberra all through christmas. I promise the first thing I do when I get back is quickly throw some clips together and post up online for you... Although the lines I have to show you probably are not that good!

Family gatherig... at least there may be a chance of white christmas

ILIV48
12-24-2007, 12:21 AM
Yep family.

My brothers wife just recently walked out on him (because being married is interferring with her going out and getting drunk at parties every night and does not let here go home with all the younger guys that partying introduces her to) so I thought it would be prudent to spend this xmas with my brother just to make sure he is alright. On his own I think it would have been pretty lousy!

Not a white christmas up here though. At first was very very wet but now it is nice and sunny and pretty hot.

Have not seen Timbo around though! We must be shopping at different places.

Stu, wasn't trying to hassle...I am just bored. When ever you get a chance.

As for your sister-in-law, its unfortunately getting to be more and more common :(

Enjoy the holiday.

Cheer

Feeling your hassling me... Never. I do need to get off my butt and do it. Have been using work and stuff as an excuse just to be lazy :yesnod:

I've been too busy re-arranging my garage! I can fit 3 Polos now :wiggle: so unless you've been in Bunnings, I'd be hard to find. Happy to catch up for a coffee, though??

ILIV48
12-27-2007, 03:56 PM
Ahh there you are Timbo. No did not spend any time in Bunnings. Was worried if I did my brother would expect me to do lots of work around his house.

Just arrived back in Melbourne... No bloody Premium fuel anywhere down the Hume so had to run very slowly on some 91 to make it home. A long drive when trying to keep the little Ralliart off boost!

I plan to be visiting my brother more often this year so next time I am heading up I will send you a PM and see if we can organise that coffee.

Cheers

PS. You guys have all those signs that say Stage 3 water restriction are in force yet every where I look up there there is huge damn lakes overflowing with water... Must be short of the bottled stuff :p:

Hey stu, sucks about ur brother but I am sure he will move on and find some1 very nice eventually.

Stage 3 restrictions... I had a dam in my "sunroom" during those storms. i rekon its a conspiracy... they package our water in the huge damn lakes and sell it off................ lol

Sounds like you went for a drive out to the Cotter ;)

Unfortunately, that's our smallest dam and is apparently hard to pump from, to the more far-flung Canberra suburbs.

Our supply, while improving, is still pretty low (http://www.actew.com.au/water/damlevels.aspx)
