Nope. In order to use the iPhone with older iPod speakers, I've found that I had to put the iPhone in "Airplane Mode". I never actually tried it with the Audiolink speakers but I assumed that'd be the case.

The blue and red displays are the same detectors(x50), just two different colors. If you bought retail the blue display would be about 40 bucks more.

Some answers:
The radar detector is the red-text 8500, not the x50.
I'm in Western MA near Amherst.
The service manuals are the blue Mazda books.
