I was just wondering if any of you have thooght about GAP
insurance for the 8. I am quite intersted as the car is costing
nearly £25K, has anbody had any quotes for GAP insurance. P.S. I rang up my dealer to enquire about this last Friday, he tlod me I will caLL YOU BACK IN AN HOUR WITH INFORMATION - still waiting for the phone call. It seems that Mazda dealers are following their head office - LACK OF COMMUNICATION.

I am fortunate enough to buy the car without the need to finance -many years of saving!!!!!!. I have been told that if you tkae out this gap insurance - GAP will top up the payment from what your insurer gives you. Basically, buy the car for 25k, insure the car for 25k with your insurer, be unlucky and right the car off - the insurence company will only pay out the current market value, gap would top it up to 25k. I hope this clears this up.

Ahh. I think my policy is new for new for the first 6 months? or something like that.

After that I guess its haggle time anyhow.
