So far things are looking good for me to attend. I do have a lot of weddings and photo shoots coming up as I'm trying to get my side photography business up and running but as of now I have this date free. :)

I just took possession last night of my brand-new '07 Velocity Red (base Sport model) w/Performance Package. Are these meets more geared towards people who have modified their cars in some way? Mine would be pretty boring in that regard - though it does have new car smell. ;)

Also, what's the age / gender / marital-status of the attendees, if it's OK to ask? I'm 35, married, with an 8-year-old daughter. Would I be considered "old"?

On a separate note...could someone PM/email me off-line with recommendations for someone in the area (I'm in Warwick Township (Pottstown) / Chester County) who could do a slick job of hooking up the Audio Link USB / AUX-in device I bought? I'm not sure where I'd want to locate it, but I'm sort of thinking of having the USB/AUX inputs exposed through the ash tray, which might require someone who could fabricate a stock-look piece of black/gray plastic.

My car is bone-stock, so you don't have to worry about being low on mods.....

We have a wide variety of age groups / marital status, so I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Lurch519 (Chuck) is our resident installer for the club. He works at Audio Jam in New Castle, DE........I'm sure he could hook you up.

My -8 is bone stock, too. well, almost - I did add the rotary accents front and back for a bit of bling.

I'm old enough to be your mom but I'm young at heart and that's what counts. You won't be out of place at all. Oh yeah, I'm single.

it will be a miracle if i am able to make this meet with my 8. the auto body place has had my car for 2 months, yes 2 months, and they just keep getting worse. i was finally going to pick up the car on friday and when i start her up i notice the airbag light on and no center console power so the guy says you have to take it to mazda. so i bring it to mazda on saturday and they find that the auto body place didnt install the airbag module! so i contact the auto place and they said they didnt realize that it was necessary. this is what i have been dealing with for 2 months. they said the part will take a few days to come in so i dont know if i will have the car back in time. o well rant over. i hope i can make it

Count me in! My first rotary meet, I'm so excited :-D Now that I have my car Zaino'ed right and proper, I feel like I can show my face at one of these... Mods include ACT clutch/prolite flywheel, custom (read: "cheapo") radiator/oil cooler screens, ebay stock look-alike wing...

Anyone got catback installed? Would love to hear what the different options sound like...
