I wasn't able to find anything on the Kvaser USBcan II on the forums and am wondering if anyone here has ever used it on an RX-8?

They seem to have a nice SDK for Windows/Linux and I'm thinking of writing some custom software for it for the CarPC I'm building.

Thoughts?

$140 for their latest version. Outstanding tech support. I'll bet Dan would provide whatever progamming info you need to hook it to your CarPC. The older USB version uses a standard USB device driver, and Dan offered to give me pointers if I ever decided to try reading it directly.
