Date: Saturday OCTOBER 13th!!!!!

place: Ohio river front Lablond park

Time: 1pm

Directions:
from south:take 71/75 north, when you are passing downtown keep on heading for 71 north but right after you go pass the stadiums, Take Columbia parkway . From columbia parkway look for a small exit in the right where it says US 52 east (it should be right after eden park exit). once you get off the exit make aleft onto 52 east and head over couple blocks! You want to make a right onto Lumber St (which is by a church looking building) . keep going onto the parking lot by the water.

From north:
Take 71 south get off at the 3th st exit then make a right on broadway, turn right at 5th street, continue onto columbia parkway, From columbia parkway look for a small exit in the right where it says US 52 east (it should be right after eden park exit). once you get off the exit make a left onto 52 east and head over for couple blocks! You want to make a right onto Lumber St (which is by a church looking building) . keep going onto the parking lot by the water.

Other:
bring chairs, cornholes if you have them, and anything you might think we need!
I will bring drinks and snacks for everyone .

Maybe we should do it a little different from the last meet!
maybe we should meet in a more secluded place.
There is a parking lot in route 52 east which is literary 10 feet from the water of the the ohio river and 5 min from downtown.
There is a small park, so maybe we should have the meet there
get some food, play some corn hole, etc..
make it a whole day thing and then go for a race.. I mean a cruise! :)

Haha, your a funny guy Frank! Its all good! I want to go to the meets, but they are always scheduled at wrong times for me. For example. I cant go to the meet on Aug 11th because I will be at a family party up in cleveland for my gmas 80th bday party.

But we def need to set up a date for a meet because it will be a nice end of the summer meet before college football starts!!

I am going to PM the guys that showed up b-4 so can star getting organized
and getting some dates set up!

As far as a grill out and Secluded place, I'd be willing to have some people back to my place. Plenty of room to fit a few cars, nice level spots for both ladder golf and corn hole, and in inground pool if it's damn hot out. roughly 10 minutes from downtown Cincy.

The only thing about a cruise through downtwon cincy is that it would be next to impossible to keep together with all the stop and go traffic. Traffic is always a bitch in the city on the weekends too.

I'm thinkin something on the outskirts of town would be a better option for cruising if you want to do some driving rather then showing off.

There are a few nice parks over looking the skiline that would make great meeting spots as well. good op for some pics.

If the 25th is the confrimed date, it's a no go for me, we are having a anneversary party for my fiance's parents, Sunday evening would be good for me.

I agree with ROBEL82. I would love to take a nice long twisty cruise but also show off our cars alittle.

I cant meet next weekend the 11th and 12th because I will be in cleveland but anyother weekends 18th & 19th and the 25th & 26th work great for me!

Whenever you get the turbo on, I would love to take a ride in your 8 to see the power difference. Are they putting you on a dyno before and after the install?

Alright, Spetember 21st is a no go for me as well, i've got a wedding to attend. But i don't think we were shooting for a friday either. I might be able to convince my boss to let me have that day off and i cold use some personal time for it.

Ive been reading these posts daily and seen alot of dates. Theres not a time of day thats going to satisfy everyone so I think a poll with the already proposed dates would be a good idea. Then we can see what day would be best for the majority of the guys who want to attend. What ever day, who ever decides, doesnt matter to me. I would prefer a saturday cause sundays are my golf days. This is just an idea to get things settled. Yey, Ney?

few of my friends want to come to the meet but they are MS3 drivers. is that ok?

the rx7store still working in my car... Jason said he hopes the car will be ready by the end of this week!

Bad news: Wont be able to make it to the meet on sat. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: The gf and I along with some of her friends and thier bf's are going to Cedar Point on sat then we are going to the Bengals vs Browns football game on sunday in Cleveland. I know I know, it was my idea in the first place for us to have the meet. Just seemed like all the dates that everyone decided on were bad for me. Im not even busy after this weekend for the longest time. But oh well, what can ya do..ya know? Hope everyone has fun and takes alot of pics. Hopefully there will be a huge turnout!!

^ funny you mention that. I wont be able to go either. I forgot all about my moms birthday being the 15th. I know, Im a horrible son. Then I got to catch flight to NC for a business trip. And on top of that, I need a new rear diff in my 8. I've been having some grinding going on in the rear, took in today and thats when I got the bad news. Thank God for the warranty. Now Im stuck with a Tribute until my 8 is done. The dealer expects to have the repair done by tuesday or wednesday. Damn this sucks.

I'll post in on friday night with my final confirmation on how much of the event i can attend. Just got back from Brottherhood of the Dragon, i'm a bit out of the loop with my work schedule, lol

i would vote for a rescheduke as well,
i work 8:30-5:30 tomorrow, i'd rather be able to take the whole day for something like this.

Thanks. I'm from Cincinnati originally and I live close to downtown. The car - it's a black sport with the performance package, rear spoiler, fender strakes, and accents. I just put a K&N air filter in it as well. Looking forward to getting some ideas on Saturday.

well the guy that sold the kit to me forgot to mention that there are lots of missing parts.... even thogh he stated that it was complete :wallbash: so the rx7 store have been fabricating custom parts for it...

Any how, I just got news from the rx7 store so my car wont be ready for this weekend :(

well the guy that sold the kit to me forgot to mention that there are lots of missing parts.... even thogh he stated that it was complete :wallbash: so the rx7 store have been fabricating custom parts for it...

Nope. Everything is still the same!! Hope your coming! I am going to try and get there early to set up signs and balloons so no one gets lost.

The spot was ok, it was tucked back a little off the road, plus there were soccer games going on the whole time.

There was a fair turn out. Met some new faces as well as some old faces there, ever one i didn't expect to show up, but was still a welcome guest.

Jeff and I had talked about doing a good road cruise a few weeks before Thanksgiving, I've got a fun route through SE Indiana that we could run, but we're going into the heart of deer season. We would piss off a lot of hunters, as well as having to watch out for 150-200 lb obstacles in the roads on blind turns. I'd still be willing to do a run on the roads if we would roll out around 12:30 ish on a monday or a friday when all the little kids are in school.

The fact that you took the time to Photoshop our logo into the bulletin board screen that you posted means you once again you are trying to stir up trouble and again gives justification to why you were unanimously voted out of our club by all club officers.

I will not stoop to Joe's level by continuing to post about this further, because it is obvious he just wants attention. Joe... Just drop it.

With that, does anyone know a good place to get windows tinted in Cincinnati? I see quite a few places that will do it, but it's always nice to have a recommendation from someone. Thanks guys.

I have a great place that I took my car to. Its in ky. About 5mins down the interstate. They do a great job. Im at school right now so I will get you that info when I get home later today.

I got my tints done at Blackjack Auto and Truck Accessories which is at 3303 Dixie Highway Erlanger 41018.
They did a pretty good job plus they give life time warranty, all for $139 I think.. Check them out

Steven, I thought we were going to get together last weekend to take pics of our 8's and see your turbo 8? I still want to see the turbo.

So do you guys meet up offten? I mean, i really have no reason to drive to cincy, but once in awhile i go up there to see my cousin or go shopping with Katy..so if they ever fall on another weekend i'm up in that direction, i'll come on by! and this time, i'll try to stay more than 5 min. haha
