I have a six port engine and standard tranny for sale in the Texas area if anyone is interested. I'm located in Seguin, TX near San Antonio. I want to try to sell it locally before moving toward shipping it. I bought both used with 16,000 miles on them. Out of a 2005, or 2006 I can't remember. It's a "semi' complete engine, needing a primary fuel rail, injectors, and an accessory crank pulley. No A/C pump, and there might be a few other odds and ends/hardware missing as I tend to lose things a lot. The engine harness is uncut and I have the ecu. I'm looking for $2,300 for both. Or, $1,800 for the engine and $600 for the tranny. I'll hopefully have pics here in the next few days. I'm a newbie here for the most part, but I've sold quite a few things on RX7Club.com with no complaints. You can contact me at warick99@yahoo.com, or PM me.

Yes, I meant the short block. I'll get pics up this Tuesday or Wednesday sometime. Right now it's in a car with a bunch of stuff piled up on it. I'm rearranging my garage. Sorry, but I'm in the middle of trying to get three restaurants started up, and trying to find a new house on top of it. I'm also trying to get my FD project finished and running before moving. Not a whole lot of time for pulling a motor and taking pics but I will get them up!

can we have the VIN of the motor/tranny when you get the time? When you get around to posting pics should suffice.

Ok, I went ahead and took a pic of the motor as it is now. I hate to post a pic of the motor not fully put together, but I didn't want this to become a "I smell a con artist" thread. I do have the upper intake, throttle body, alternator, trigger wheel, etc...

photo is fine. parting it out would be better for you.... i would not reassemble it...:)

you have the whole car, or is this a 20b swap in the making? i notice the steering rack is gone.

Actually the car is a 90 Miata. I completely reworked the subframe to get the thing to fit, installed a TII rear end, and fabbed up a PPF for it all. I was at the point of fabbing engine mounts when I abandoned the project for a while. "For a while" may be permanent now. I wasn't happy with a lot of the work I did anyways. I require perfection. The rack is still there, it's just dropped out of the way. Otherwise it bolts right back in where it should be. I probably will be parting it out starting next week. I'm just hoping that someone local will want the full engine/tranny package and take it off my hands with minimal fuss.

I can get an engine core from Mazda for $1,000 and no shipping needed.
