Apparently there were more than a few people who wrote in complaining because they left the RX-8 off their "50 Hottest Cars of 2003" list in September. It was so bad that they've got everyone's favorite list avatar taking up a good quarter of the page, titled 50 Hottest, Minus One with a caption underneath reading:

RX-8 DOESN'T RATE?
Mazda Fans blasted us for omitting the RX-8 from our list of 2003's hottest new cars--and justifiably so. The keenly anticipated sportster goes on sale in May 2003 (as an '04 model).

It's then followed by a sampling of the letters they got about it.

Is there an e-nail (I mean e-mail) address where we can send our correspondence of discontent?

They need to be reminded of what a mistake they made, over and over and over and . . .

I'll have to take a look at that...good to hear the public is putting pressure on magazines. That'll hopefully allow the RX-8 to gain more attention and publicity from various publishers when the car is released.
