Hello out there!
I havent been here for a while due to many changes in my life. I am no longer working as a service manager due to the sale of the dealership. This occurance gave me the kick in the ass I needed to start my own personal chef business.
Unfortunately, due to my new business, I needed a vehicle that had the capability to carry lots of stuff. So sadly the 8 has been sold and a new Dodge Nitro has been purchased. So far I really like it.
I hope the new owners of this site treat you all well and I thank all of you for good information, good humor and the occaisonal controversy. I hope I was able to contribute some good info as well from time to time.
Take care,
Jon:beerchug:

Just because you don't own the 8 anymore doesn't mean you can't still post or start new threads

oh no!
Sorry to hear you're leaving us Jon, it was always a pleasure having you around. I wish you the BEST of luck in your new endeavors and hopefully you'll still drop by from time to time.
The Nitro forums can't be nearly as much fun as us. :)
Chef Business?? Training new chefs?

I will drop by I,m sure...I do not train new chefs, I do private dinner parties in peoples homes or at bed and breakfasts in the area. I also work part time at a winery tasting room. As much as I liked the car business, I'm really lovin this new lifestyle.

It seemed like you weren't around much lately. Congrats on the new work!! Hope it works out well for you. I guess I should have taken you up on that offer for cooking advice way back when - I'm sure it would be much too pricey to get that info now! :rollingla
Love the look of the nitro - tho I wish Dodge would stop putting the exact same nose on every vehicle they produce. So now you've got more power, and better MPG??!!! FTW!
Anywho - I hope you stay around, Jon. It sure would suck to lose such a great member here.
Good luck to you. I'll have a beer (or 8) to toast your success.

just remember not to give other cars a jumpstart with your nitro or they'll explode like in the commercial
Best of luck on the new business venture too

Thanks for the kind words. The Nitro is very versatile. I needed something with good rear cargo space but wanted something that looked cool. I personally like the looks and the 110 volt plugs are a major plus for me.
I will post my website when I get it up and running. As far as cooking advise, its always free to RX8 club members LOL!
