You ever have one of these nights, where you have nothing to do, and you're tired, but going to bed is out of the question? Probably not.. but I am right now!
So who else is awake, cuz I need someone to entertain me!

Yea.. this thread will most likely die too..

:shocking:

Just watched Franz Ferdinand on Austin City Limits...great band, kind of a throwback. What Made Milwakee Famous is playing now. Never heard of 'em, but they are pretty good, too.

Watched "The Scoprion King" a couple of hours ago. Another good flick that I've never had the time to watch until tonight!

The wife is asleep on the couch. Just downed a cold one and checking-in on the RX-8 gang.

I have about 7 hours of the colbert report to watch.. i might do that.. i also have a matching 7 hours of the daily show.. hrmm.. but.. human interaction is usually better than veging in front of the TV..

By finding out recently that Texan medical schools only accepting around a third of their applicants (meaning, about one out of every three applicants will be accepted to SOME school in state), according to 2005's statistics, I don't sleep much at all. Not sure if I'm overreacting, but getting an A in organic chemistry 2 that I'm taking this summer session like digging for gold in a desert, which isn't going to improve my already-feeble GPA. Probably would of been best to ignore the odds.

Just downloaded TMNT. PG movie but I was such a big turtle fan as a kid, not sure why I haven't seen it yet.

I actually did go and watch TV.. vegging out in front of the TV is always a good time waster.. I finally went to bed about 4am and I forgot that my neighbors just moved in and their dog started barking about 8.. Hopefully that won't last very long.

I'm in the same boat too, I'm at the point of months and months of this I'm so tired, I cant sleep. If that makes any sense. Not fair that hubby is upstairs, sleeping like a log. I am so jealous.
Thank God for the internet to keep me entertained!

I shall continue to surf until my eyes are gritty....

I just want to go home and go to bed, but I'm out of luck for now. Since I'm stuck here there should at least be some interesting patients, but that's not even happening tonight. :crying:

LOL, the wii will hurt you..! :)
I never was able to find one when they came out here, but I hear its a blast (and good exercise minus the tendonitis/carpal tunnel/slipping on the floor and banging ones appendages/head..)
Does it come with a warning label? :lol2:

Ajax

it has a ton of warning labels, lol! there's a warning screen that comes up before it even boots, before every game starts and sometimes during games.

I read somewhere a seniors home got one for their residents for Christmas, and they were all fighting over who got to play it (bowling or some sort of game). Ha ha thats great. They love it! Honestly, for a 'low impact game' how great for a bunch of older folks?

the controller is good. it's the implementations that aren't.
the games by nintendo are excellent, but as always, nintendo finds a to screw up the controls in zelda.

Wanted to play a few games for the wii, but didnt want to buy the wii because of the controler. The ps3 is still a bit to much for me to waste money on, that i could be using on my car.
