Place:Busse woods, Golf Rd entrance
Date:Aug 18th 2007
Why? spend a day in the outdoors with your fellow Mazda brethren.
I am trying to get all walks and forms of mazda life to attend this meet
as of right now i have this posted on;

mazda6club.com
mx6.com
mazdas247.com
rx8club.com(as of now)

so if there is any other forums people know to post in that would be superb!

we do have a 6club member who is bringing a small grill and other people are bringing chips, drinks and such. basically the goal of this meet is to just meet and see some of the great mazdas that are in the chicagoland area.
If you'd like to volunteer and bring something, anything is appreciated since im sure there will be plenty stomachs that will sooner or later be on the search for food.

if any members are interested just start with 1.(name) 2.(name) and so fourth.. if you wish to bring anything please list that as well so we dont have 20 people bringing 24packs of pop.. or buns/hotdogs whatever.

We look forward to seeing you there!

How may people showed up. I had planned to be between some work issues and the rain I didn't make it.

Although I am new to this forum, I live in the Schaumburg area and had driven into the area where the meet was to take place at with my family in the Mazda 5, that was at 10:45AM after a quick stop at IKEA ( I hate that place!), and there was no one around but he Ramirez family reunion starting up. Not a Mazda in sight.

By noon to 1 PM, the rain was pouring and the kids were keeping my time occupied otherwise. No way to get back over there if I could with the weather as lousy as it was, I figured everyone would of headed out.

I'd like to try the next one in September if you get one going again.

I do have to say that there seemed to be plenty of parking. I've never been there before, so I don't know what its like on a sunny day.

The location seems to be very convienent as well. Right off 53 or 290 or whatever it's called right there.

our first few guys showed up around 11:45 noonish. which is when i got there as well.. our attendance was easily 25+ cars and people coming and going here and there.

last time we had a meet in the same location but on a nice sunny day. the park was LOADED with people.
