Has anyone heard of Sports Max Racking Rims or ADR rims? I've seen them on ebay for about $500 for 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 rims, so they are pretty cheap. Just wondering if the quality is bad on them.

You can usually find those for around $100-$130 for each rim, depending on the size. The only thing I can think bad about the ADR's are that they are heavy. As far as Sport Max's, I really don't know much about those, I know they have some nice wheels though. I've only met one guy with a set, and he never had any problems. I actually want to get a set of Sport Max's... llzjayarzll 07-21-2007, 03:44 PM ADR is very expensive from what i see on the net.. never heard of the other ones ^^ LOL mysql101 07-21-2007, 03:55 PM save your money and get some good rims. if you watch for sales you can pick up a set of rims like volk for $1000. MonkeyBoy88 07-21-2007, 05:01 PM Yeah I'm concerned about weight. That seems to be the difference between the cheaper ones and brands like Volk. ADR makes some really nice looking rims though. OEMs I read are 22 lbs which is pretty decent. mysql101 07-21-2007, 05:02 PM my volk 57F cost me $1000 shipped for a set, and they're less than 18 lbs each. So more than 16 lbs of rotating mass off the rims. MonkeyBoy88 07-21-2007, 05:02 PM ADRs are cheap. Look on ebay and you can find a set for $400. |
