The music I like is so obscure nobody cares. I use limewire from time to time. Never had any trouble.

Bearshare and E-mule

Edit: If you don't mind paying a 5$ dollar monthly fee, bearshare gives you any CD you want to download that they have.

Or you can use it to download songs from other peoples computers (like kazaa).

Etc etc. I paid for awhile because the first 2 months are free and the first paid month was 1 dollar. I wish I had a credit card to pay for it because I would, I have a thousand songs I can no longer play from them since my account isn't active.

Oh yeah, and for some reason it's not compatible with iPod's.

Good news is though if you want to download all those songs and still get them without paying for them, you can burn the songs and make a Music CD and then rip them from the CD.

I plan on getting a CD-RW disc so I can just burn and then rewrite and burn some more. Sure it'll take time but it's REALLY GOOD quality, and free ^_^ and it's off any CD I want.

Don't think this will work. Subscription music (when you pay a flat monthly rate for unlimited access to music) is not able to be burned to cd's. You can put it on an mp3 player, but thats it. You basically are renting the songs. Now, if you pay per song, then you own the song, and it can be burned to a CD (which in the process, strips the file of its media protection)
