My power seats wont un-recline

Hey,

I reclined my power seats all the way down and now it is stuck there. Is there any way I can bring it up just so I can take it to the dealer? Is there maybe a recall on this or something? Such a lame problem to have.

Thanks!

that's really weird.
Do any of the controls work on the seat? can you move it forward or back, adjust the bottom of the seat??

If not, something might have come loose, check the connections.
Did you try pushing the lever and giving the seat a slight nudge in the right direction? is it making any noises as it tries to un-recline?

Everything else works but the recline. I can recline it further but there is one spot that it gets stuck at when I try to bring it up. I'm just gonna take it to the dealership in a couple of hours. Thanks for your help!

He can just sit up...you know, use those core muscles to keep you upright instead of relying on the back of the seat.

So there isn't a manual way to get the seat back up I take it?
That sucks because the same thing just happened to my seat.

*Update

I took apart the control module on the side of the seat, it looks like one of the gold "teeter totter" pins fell out of alignment. Caution, if you take this module apart all those pins will fall out and you will have to tediously place them all back into place...it was worth it for me.

Or you could just drive with the seatback down and roll on a set of 22's with spinners to match.
