Got caught out in an amazing hail storm yesterday. The road was wet and then covered in about an inch of hail ranging from the size of a bb to a fat pea. Slowed down a bit but it handled fine. No slipping or sliding. DSC on.
I was concerned the finish would be dinged up (did the Zaino thing) but my initial inspection revealed no marks. When my car dried in the garage, it looked almost clean. I wonder if the Zaino helped protect the finish and if wax would have shown damage.

Zaino prevents dents too? Wow, it truly is better than wax!!! (Insert rolleyes icon here) ;)

It is little know fact that Zaino doubles as a force field. Even accidents will product no damage.

I left out the part about the meteor bouncing off the Zaino because I knew you'd mock me.

You laugh but here's a true story. Coming home from work there was a fender bender that left a piece of metal bumper trim in the road. I didn't see it and rolled right over it. I kicked it up when I when over it and it looked like it scratched my rear bumper down to the primer. But amazingly when I washed the car the mark totally disapeared. The 6 coats of Zaino I put on really saved my car that time.

LesPaul:
I've been wondering about possible hail damage to the aluminum hood with hailstones large enough. Hopefully, there isn't a dimpled spot on your car anywhere!

Actually, zaino would offer a little more protection, based on its chemical composition.
I have noticed that bugs just wipe off of it, and the car feels sooooo smooothhhhh...............Good thing zaino wipes off so well
