Hello,
I've got a 2004 model, sadly out of warranty, that has an intermittent fault with the radio/climate control centre panel. In a nutshell, the unit will switch off completely including the upper display panel (which displays temperature and radio frequency etc). With a mind of it's own, the unit will then switch back on and normal service is resumed. However, the unit is 'off' much more than it is 'on' and therefore you can imagine this is slightly annoying. I just wondered if anyone has experienced the same fault. Logic would dictate that the head unit has an internal fault but it would be better (read cheaper !) if the problem was due to an intermittent 12v supply for whatever reason. However, having removed the uint and inspected the factory loom, I cannot see how this could be ? If it was the head unit, could anyone recommend anyone who may be able to supply secondhand ?
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks
