TreknMazda 10-03-2003, 09:49 AM So, I get home yesterday and there is a black package in the mail box. It's round, flat on one side and the other side is the relief of a steering wheel with the chorme 'flying M' in the middle. The letter, which I don't have in front of me at the moment, I think had the catch phrase "The emotion of motion" at the top. It was a thank you letter with the dealership's information, service hours, etc. In the bottom of the package was the RX-8 accessories brochure and a bottle of touch up paint for my car. I'll do pictures later if anyone cares.
Anybody else get it? The return address is the same one in Pennsylvania that sent our preorder gifts. I was hoping it was the RX-8 scale model in Brilliant Black.:(

RX-GR8 10-03-2003, 10:22 AM nope no gift yet. i didnt even get the letter for the buy back option yet and the deadline has passed.
MrWolf 10-03-2003, 11:22 AM RX-GR8... call the RX8 1-800 line and see if you can get it faxed to you, but be prepared to wait on hold for a while.
Not the orders line. I'm sure you can dig it up on the board though if you don't have it.

OmegaBob 10-03-2003, 05:42 PM Yesterday, I finally received the 2nd pre-order gifts!!! Yea! (The thermos and coffee mug). The RX-8 mag that was included had a sticker on the front that mentions the updated hp figures.
Hopefully, I'll get the paint when I get home today....

(Mazda has sent us one after each of our last two new Mazda purchases.) Guess I jumped the gun!

Actually, it's plastic.:( Tin would have been better.
