View Full Version : (!) Tire Pressure Light
OL!z RX8 07-06-2007, 06:03 PM I got a small problem, the light with the (!), I think its the tire pressure light, lights up most of the time I turn on my car. I checked my tires and filled them up with air already, but the light doesnt go away. Anyone experienced the same problem? Or knows what to do before I take it to the dealership?
dillsrotary 07-06-2007, 06:15 PM you have to reset the light, its in the manual
CTrx8 07-06-2007, 07:05 PM does it flash or stay on?

sounds like more of an electrical problem if you're saying it is beeping (which would tell me it's not a malfunctioning TPMS) but the pressure is fine and your seatbelt light is on but your seatbelt is buckled. this is a longshot but have you checked the fuses?
poweredbyplaav 07-06-2007, 08:52 PM i had a similar problem, but only the tire pressure light would come on. i kept checking my air and pumping it to about 32 (or what i thought was 32). well i took it to the dealer today and it turns out that the gauge in the air pump was not accurate and i had about 45 psi in the tires...which is why the light was on. so long story short, dont rely on the air pump gauge bcuz you may end up pumping in more air than you think ;)

i would think it were that simple if the seatbelt light weren't also staying on. and why are people using the gauge on their pumps instead of using a separate one?
shaunv74 07-07-2007, 12:20 PM A separate tire gauge is a very good idea. That and don't trust anyone to put the right air pressure in your tires. We just bought a new car from the dealer and the tires were at 45psi!!

Same problem here...except I checked mine with 2 different gauges, both read the same amount, took it to the dealer and they told me i had 60psi?!?!?! umm....ok. So they "fixed" the problem.......yeah, right...it's still flashin.
NgoRX8 07-10-2007, 12:13 AM take it to another dealer...
