DSC and TC in the rain

Thank god for DSC and TC. That stuff works like a charm. I usually drive my car very hard in the dry with the DSC and TC off. Oversteer and 3 digits on my speedometer aren't unusual. However, I'm a pu$$y in the rain. Even with the DSC and TC on the car was totally sideways when I got on the HW from the on ramp. It recuperated very well and stabilized the car. I just had to test the DSC/TC software and hardware. Anybody had a similar experience?

I've tried it's reaction to stomping on the gas while the road is wet. Very fast acceleration and no spinning. Pretty nice.

I drove hard through a sharp left in the wet today, all ready to apply opposite lock and experience the bum wiggles ... nothing!!!

First time (still very new + not much rain) and I was just confused. The tail should have gone out - but it didn't. I need to go to a big empty space in the wet.

The car is pretty clever!

I've noticed on wet roads at a stop sign or light when I accelerate AND turn, one of the back tires seems to break traction a bit. I've had to adjust and lay off the gas. It feels like if I continued to accelerate the back end would break free completely, although perhaps that's when the "hand of god" would intercede and prevent me from doing that.

That's exactly what I intended to bring about .... it laughed at me!

The DSC/TC is a double edge sword. It saves when you need to be saved, but it also builds up your confidence to the point that you push the car hard to the point where you exceed your driving ability:
"I can handle that curve @ 90 MPH"
The only time I use the DSC/TC is in the rain or when I'm driving my baby daughter in the back.
