I believe I am the last person IN THE ENTIRE WING of my building. All the soldiers are off for a Soldier-Holiday....the other Civilians have all taken half-days, And I've an hour and 10 minutes to wait until my 6-day weekend starts.

So.

Here's my plan for Tomorrow:

Get up and go with my brother to a Reservation for 'good' fireworks. Mostly mortars. Fountains and noise-makers really don't do squat for me anymore. Mortars are what I'll spend my money on. As an aside, instead of buying fireworks my wife has suggested I let her scan and print money on our printer at home. That way, if I want to 'burn money' I can take the FAKE money and use it, instead. Girls are silly.

Multi-Family dinner at either a friend's place (they've a much better Yard, and bigger house, but...it'll be hot so most ppl will wanna stay inside anyway), or at my place (smaller yard and house), then dessert + Firewerks around our Fire pit, over-looking a large Valley where we see a LOT of fireworks every year. (the idea behind having it at our house is this: We could start drinkin, then just stay there, instead of leaving the friend's house to get to my house).

About midnight or so, I'll start sweeping. I'll sweep most of the street around my house as my guests (who did their share of lighting) sit around drinkin and talking and eatin' s'mores. I'll get pissed again (like I do every year) that I'm stuck sweeping the f'ing street while they play grab-ass and shoot the shit with one-another.

The other 5 days:

ASAP I'll get some sleep, as the 5th I'm going to try and get some 100? miles or so to Mount Rainier's 'Sunrise' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Rainier_National_Park#Sunrise) area for literal 'sunrise' photos of the mountain.

Friday I'm considering taking the kids up to Vancouver Canada. This'll serve two purposes - 1) Allowing me to buy a couple bottles of 222's. 2) Allow the kids the chance to mess around at Stanley Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Park), and otherwise experience a different, laid-back, and likely high (http://www.magicmushroombuyersguide.homestead.com/canada-marijuana-flag.gif), society. :)

Saturday? Mount Saint Helens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mt_St_Helens), WA. Get the kids up and close to the biggest AshHole in the lower 48.

Sunday? Madden 07. My wife's wanting to finish landscaping the back yard - or at least make good progress - i'll stay out of her way, upstairs...with the AC on...Playing my 6th Season on the current Franchise. I've got a couple AWESOME WR's - both rated only about 84, but with Speed of 99, and accel. of 85+. I can send them haulin' arse down the sidelines almost ANY time they're in single coverage, for big gains. Also, in the Fantasy Draft to start my franchise, I got Micheal "The Burner" Turner- who has finished THREE consecutive 2000 yards + seasons, and three straight MVPs. :)

Monday? Recover - and dread going to work on Tuesday. Might catch Transformers.

I only have the 4th off, so it's back to work for my sorry arse on Thursday. Blow your fingers off and have a great time!

Since I work in a casino, I will be at work on the holiday. We never close.

Can someone pass the tissues, please?

Car 'should be ready sometime this week'... :-/

SERIOUSLY discouraged though - skeerd of breaking it again. If my wife would sign-off on it (figuratively) I'll start shopping this summer/fall.

Does your XBox turn on? There was something about 'comatose Xbox' or something I read once. Search google - may have a fix for ya.

MOE? Wha?

It does turn on. The disk is stuck and the tray comes out w/no disk. boo.

thks d. I'm just dumb enough that I didn't think to google for that issue I've got w/my GF's box.

one of the main causes is the presence of a "sticky substance" on the top of the disk.

I guess it is possible to love your xbox too much.
