Can anyone on this forum use Zmodeler? I am just learning how to use it and can't make cars yet (well at least to the quality I want). I am desperately trying to make a Rx-8 for Grand theft auto three but am having no luck.:(

Cool... good luck!!
Can you tell me what formats this program can export? It might be that we can add any car you produce into another scene using AC3d, blender or Povray!

Yeah... but I thought that they would be daft not to allow one standard output format... it looks pretty good for doing cars... that's all..
Gonna check what those formats are...

You can just download AC3d and there is a Windows version these days too...

Yay... They can both use 3d studio files... you can use them both...
It's got a free trial... I'd recommend having a play with that... even if it's just to steal the examples... LOL.

Cool, I'd love a copy of your file... mabe I can do somthing with it...
If Povray can do this:-

Then I'm sure we can create a nice background a virtual RX-8

I have never used povray..is it hard to use because something that gives results that good must be difficult:D
BTW. Do you have Gta3?

Povray isn't "hard" per se... but it IS hard to produce a result that good... BUT povray is a pure rendering engine... you need a serarate GUI to create the actual model I believe.
If you notice the link to the modeler "Moray" on the povray homepage...
Povray favors the command line apporach to editing, which makes it rather difficult to learn.
