Car and Driver expected another cookie-cutter ho-hum sedan test and ended up "enlightened." Too bad they dispatched their senior writers( Accord/Camry-biased) to road test, who complained about a "Euro-stiff" ride. Boo hoo... :D

The Edmunds review gives the BOSE system a 9/10. Perhap's the RX-8 will have a decent stereo after all.

Or perhaps not? Car And Driver just wrote that the Bose stereo in the 350Z sounded atrocious. Something about the speakers sounding like they were made from dryer lint, I think. ;)

I'll have to show that article to my Bose-worshipping friend. :p

It can go either way with Bose. But the review in Edmunds does make me happy as the RX-8 should have at least that or better :)

I just realized today that the US spec cars, in addition to not getting Xenon lights, DSC, or navigation as is available in other markets, also does NOT get rear seat adjustable headrests. :mad: While I do not plan to ride back there, it seems that a sedan of this nature should have that, especially when all the other countries get it.

Why is the NA 6 so decontented?? Would a 6 spec'd to the way it is in Japan and Europe price itself out of the NA market or something?

Overall a great review. Can't wait to drive one....

Just found another absolutely GLEAMING review of the 6.

If a family sedan can be as good as this thing seems to be, imagine how good the RX-8 is gonna drive :D

I think we will be seeing a lot of those reviews :)

Road and Track should follow up soon... it's just a matter of time for the 8 :)

The review is good, though not great. The car should not be underated though. For a front driver, it is among the best. I'm not a fan of Nissan's new style of interiors, with the somewhat inexpensive plasticky interior trim and pieces. The Mazda6, on the other hand, has a classy interior geared for performance and comfort.
