Wow...the car ain't bad. But they pushed it waaaaaaaaaaay far. I am no mechanic, but something got simply torn apart in the engine bay. Could happen (and unfortunately does) to anyone.

Rotaries: No rods to throw, valves to bend, heads to crack.

Rotaries have a better reliability record at racing than most other engines. Although I suppose even a rotary would grenade using too much NOS, but the repair/rebuild would be much less expensive.

Keep in mind this idiot was running 400 shot NOS....changed what i put (it was mean)....leave the Z's block alone, its the idiots fault

I was referring to the first guy's post....although i do think the rx8 could handle more NOS since it has less moving parts...and i wouldnt be talking about getting defensive fast on this board....

Correct me if I am wrong, the VQ35 used on the Z is already hyper-tuned, right? its kindda like the same thing that applies to the S2K engine...or no?

I don't know squat about mechanics, so I don't know a thing about the 13B sucking up NOS willingly. But it hurts me to see ANY car being trashed like that...and to top it off: the guys seemed to be having a good time laughing at it: IDIOTS (or rich A-OLES)

I havent had a chance to watch the whole thing yet but from what I've seen (lots of broken parts) it is such a shame. I guess you have to bust some eggs to know the limits of all these cars, but man.... What they were doing looked like pure abuse. I would have taken that car and loved it like my own.

I didn't say it had 400 hp...i said it had a 400 SHOT Nitrous, although i don't know for sure...i've also seen some boards say it had a 375 shot nitrous...so i guess i don't know for sure. But it definitely had nitrous, and I dunno how much HP it had....does that answer your question?
