Sunny south Florida. Have yet to take the car to South Beach, I am afraid what might happen.

I think it's just you; I get all the attention from the guys. total bummer. But to answer your question, more of a divorce maker. My wife saw this car and thought "mid-life crisis." Told me it was her or the car. Got the car, but I noticed she's still hangin' around. If she could drive stick I don't think she'd be around long. Hot looking' philipina croozin' in a Red '8? Damn! p.s. she don't hang around this forum so hopefully I'm safe with these comments. ;)

I just got married. We bought the car prior to being wed after my then fiance traded in her '01 Accord.

Definite chick magnet by design, a divorce magnet only if you choose to hook up with the chicks and get caught!

Funny thing is I grew a beard during our honeymoon. My wife said I looked too good in our Red RX8 w/ a beard that I would attract lots of gals. So I shaved it off today. Luv my wife! When we first met I didn't even have a car.

It doesn't matter, because I love my fiance. I would get rid of the car and drive a metro if she wanted me to, well maybe not a metro...

hmm the car attracts heads but lota girls turn their heads as well. I was actually driving with 2 chix in my car the other night and had the girl in the car next to be eyeing my car.. According to the girls with me she was really checking me, her head followed me as i turned.

ive had some girls as lights talk to me at lights.. one hot chick in a s200 even ran a lil with me

im only 22 so it has to be a chick magnet.. when orlder.. i dunno we will have to wait and see

unfortunatly the attnetion wont last forever so take advantage of it now!

the attention will last as long as you keep the car looking good

I have been calling my 8 my midlife crisis car. I'm at the age where men supposedly:
1) Change careers completely
2) Get a young girlfriend or
3) Get a sports car

I mentioned this to my wife, and we bothe agreed the sports car is by far the least damaging and least expensive option!!

Don't take this the wrong way but chances are it's the car they're interested in. Even if you are have decent looking, it's the car.

ooohhh baby... after being plagued by nothing but attention from guys (mostly in their 20s) FINALLY got noticed by a hottt redhead in Guess jeans. Damn, made the whole RX-8 experience worth it right there. Too bad she had some dude hangin' on her arm plus I was way across the street watching this from afar. Blew my best chance... :(

I wish. Not when you're a long-haired, overfed leaping gnome like me. ;) Can't afford to miss too many chances that come my way.

dont worry Mike: You have to admit your daily chick average has to be very "pumped up" compared to average guy.

Wonder why? Must be the car.;)

I parked my car and I saw these two girls staring at my car. When I got out one walked over to me and asked about the car. Then she asked me if I could help her and her friend move thier 37" TV up a flight of stairs and into thier apt. I'm about 30 and they looked to be about 22-23, both hot. Of course I helped! But they used my car to get to me. Haha. I feel so violated.

LOL
on my way back from work today ( I worked graveyard) I was driving behind a school bus. At the back of the bus was a bunch of HS girls that keep looking at my car. Then they started writing notes in BIG letters commenting on the car and gave me their names. Then start writing asking question about me. LMAO

I'm 24 yo, but I look like a freeaking 16 yo kid. It's genetic so :P

I just smile and waved back and giving thumb up acknowledged their notes. Of course, I can't date HS girls anymore, but this damn sure brighten my days. :D :p

A true test, occurred to me at a get together for work. This very good looking 25 year old female asked me for a personal tour of my car. We took a 10 minute tour and after that I had a shadow the rest of the night. If I was single I would have been in love, even though I am not I am still in love. She was beautiful.

This time I think the car was the excuse to get to know me better ( I know, but why can't I fantasize?)
