A little sad news.

Our beloved RX-8 Forum Avitar on the home page will not be built as seen there.
Unfortunately, the two-tone yellow-black interior color scheme will not make production. :(
I can only assume that the yellow part of it was considered too light and would definitely show every bit of dirt and stains.
Other two-tone color interiors will however, be available but I am not at liberty to say which ones yet.:p

Dark blue and black... that's mine. They better have it! :D

While I understand the point of cleanliness (I use dial), I am still a little disappointed.

I was planning on getting the yellow; I guess there will not be any interior colour accenting? :confused:

NOOOOOO! This is the worst news I've heard yet! Even worse than Mazda not producing the custom baby seat.

All along I've wanted yellow, but now I may have to get another colour to get the two-tone leather. To echo ZoomZoom "Will there be any interior accenting on the yellow car?"

Sad to see that it wont be produced in yellow, as we've all gotten used to it in yellow and black, need I say with the help of Mazda. At least there will be other 2-tone colors available.

Did they also scratch the digital speedo and those fat/bulbous side view mirrors?? Those 2 need to go.

At least they are not axing the whole two tone interior....now that would be badddddddddd:mad:

Those yellow seat inserts nicely showed off the 2+2 interior on the yellow show model, I'll miss them as an option. I'm not sure if an other colored insert would work as well with a yellow body (maybe a dark grey or brown insert). It really looked nice in yellow ...

I was always planing on a Black exterior, hoping to be able to get a black (cloth) interior with dark red inserts, but I wouldn't mind either a dark blue or dark grey inserts on the seats ...

All of this not knowing ... and waiting ... for so long is ... tough!

It's going to be a very long wait until the Detroit Auto Show ...

so what possible colors would match the yellow exterior any ideas?
