HI All,
I've just recently bought RX8'04 A/T model, need some input on accessorising especially the exhaust. Can you Guys give me some input, I'm considering Fujitsubo Legalis R and HKS Legamax, what do you guys think, in terms of performance influence, fuel efficiency and increase in Hp.
Thanks Guys:ylsuper:

Really the only huge differences in cat-backs for the 8 are weight and sound... (price too I guess)

performance: little difference
fuel economy: not much difference
increased hp: 5 maybe... if you're lucky...

read stickies, they're useful. there's a sticky in the aftermarket section called aftermarket exhausts summary: http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=16442

Best thing is to look at price and figure out the sound you like. I have the racing beat dual exhaust with RP supercat but now I'm kinda wishing I had the HKS single cause it has a nice sound and added bonus of being much lighter. Good luck finding something.

welcome to the forum, theres no HP to be gained from exhaust, maby 2-3. \

please use the search button at top of page, theres a lot of great info in the forum, reading it all would not hurt, 90% of my knowledge of my car i got from this forum.

enjoy the car, mod it with what you like.

Thanks Guys,
I've read most of thread already, bust I haven't found anything for Fujitsubo, most of what I've seen so far is HKS, RB, or Borla.
Since I'm driving an A/T is there any specific Exhaust that I have to purchase or they all goes bothways, I mean for A'T & Man6

i dont know what im talking about. honestly i joined the forums a few weeks ago. but im pretty sure all the aftermarket exhausts start at the midpipe. they dont bolt directly onto the engine manifold. or w/e its called with rotary engines. so that means any exhaust system fits any 8, whether it has the 4 port (AT) or 6 port (MT) engine.

Best performance mod for an AT... trade in for an MT.

I am afraid a free flowing exhaust system will kill the low end torque event further, especially for A/T car.
