My dealer told me that I STILL don't have a vin#. I pre-ordered a week before the announcement for the 500+scheduled maintenence. Should I be receiving a letter from Mazda soon? Or will I have to wait until a vin is determined? or until I make the purchase?
I just want to MAKE SURE I get the extras, otherwise, I don't think it's worth it (I can get a really good deal on another car)....especially since it looks like I will be without a car til december!

Why don't you call Mazda and see? That way, at least they, adn you, have a record that you called about it.

try 1-800-662-6779 - it's the RX-8 orders customer service number, I believe. I'm actually calling today too to make sure they received ours, which I sent back three weeks ago.

I preordered and put a deposit down on August the 16th, and my dealer just told me that I am NOT elligible although from the beginning they have been telling me I will get my 500 dollars and maintenence.
I am pissed, to say the least.
I asked for the manager to call the order customer service number and to call me back with confirmation, and he said "No, I cannot call you back. I am in a meeting right now."

meh, manager just called me and said everything is okay..
