Good morning. My keyless entry refused to lock the car this morning (I've had my Mazda for one year and the light still comes on when pressed). The dash displays showed (after I opened the door) DOOR AJAR and SECURITY SYSTEM. I locked it manually but can anyone give me a lead...do you think it's time for battery replacement? How much does it cost? Thanks

Check all the other doors and the trunk. I've had mine do the same thing (just got it in Feb) and found that the passenger side rear door wasn't quite shut completely, even though the passenger door was.

I just opened/shut all of the doors to find it.
