Hey guys!! about 21 days ago, My car got pwned by large flying rocks fling from a gravel truck, extensively damaging the underside of my car along with my front bumper and my wheels were broken

as of today, I got my car back from the body shop!!!!, the insurance payed about 5000$ for it I think, I payed 1000

it turns out that a bunch of parts were needed to be replaced........I was so happy to get my car back that I turned it from this:

grip is good :) i have tein flex and i recommend them, but they dont go super low. i also hear hks hipermax rs is a good set up for being low, deff not ideal for racing tho

*kills self* anyhow, the car feels much lighter now, for some reason, it feels like the car is less grippy, but it doesn't lose corners going 60 mph + though, it just feels very light, a little faster......like only a little

I think I'm gonna add a spoiler.......gotta go search :)
thanks all, I was starting to feel like shit from driving all those american sedans..........whats 65 mph?

That's some sweet work for 1k!! I work right next to the state "landfill" - lots of big ass trucks all the time . . . perhaps I should do some tampering & see if I can't get a body kit paid for . . .

Glad you got it back. The rims look good - I think it's the chrome look that turns most members off. Looks like they'll cover the (soon to be) rusty rotor hubs too!

dunno - 3 weeks & $1k seems like a reasonable trade off for all that work. lucky bastiche.

Damn Gravel Trucks.. they should of done this sooner to you haha.. well the bodykit looks awsome the rims are so-so in my book not a fan of the pure chrome look.

Now for your next BIG MOD!!!!... Clear Corners!!

lol, guys, I just got even better news, my insurance called me up and said they were gonna REIMBURSE ME!!!!! they found the company whose truck is responsible and they said that they can get the damange paid for by the company's insurance, they said they can give me back my money in about 1-2 weeks!! so all this is gonna be free then!!!

its a beautiful day for me.......:) now I can use that 1k to finally buy some suspension mod and a good exhaust

lala~~~!

Just keep a pair of amber bulbs in there and you're ok. As long as they light up orange that's good enough for CA. I haven't been hassled yet.

Congrats :D the kit looks very good, as clavius suggest get the clear corner. It will enhance the look of the car even more. Give Racing Beat a call I believe they have some clear corner in stock.

If you get the JDM mazda ones they come with an amber bulb. Its instead of having a clear bulb in an amber corner. it just looks betta

if the car feels less grippy....did you change tires with those rims?

spoiler...ck out the mint blue, since you already have the rest of the kit

Pretty sure that I've seen mention of CA law requiring amber light from the sidemarkers. You can get Stealth bulbs w/the clear corners that have a silver coating on the bulb so you don't see the bulb when it is NOT lit, but still glows amber when lit. Tho I will warn you, the stealth bulbs I got w/my clears did not last long. One blew out in about 4 months. I'm now on clear bulbs, but RI po-po's are generally pretty cool about stupid little stuff like that.

I don't really like the mint blue spoiler, and it was sold separately, (lala insurance gave us only a limited money) and yes, I changed the tires with the rims, but this tire is acutally better than the one I had before on my 16" which were dunlops

and dmc, linky? I can't find em on google=.=

search 'stealth bulbs' on google = this page (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=stealth+bulbs).

I never bought them separately, tho. When I bought the clear corners I had the option of paying an extra $5 to get a set of stealth bulbs. So it prlly depends where you get the corners - if it's through mazdaparts (or prlly any vendor) you will prlly have the option. If it's through a member or on ebay you might have to get the bulbs on your own. IIRC - it was $65 for the clear corners, or $70 for the corners w/stealths - pretty easy choice.

well, its official, the tire is super skiddish, but the car doesn't spin out of control like the stock, it just likes to skid skidd skidd

I am thinking of the tein coil over as I hear they are the best for racing, any other good ones?

Looks good mate.

And for the people bashing your rims, just ignore it. If you like them, then that is what counts. :)
