I finished waxing my car a little while ago when it was getting dark. Anyway I left some wax on some of the plastic body work and didn't know it. Then I went out of town and when I got back i found a white haze on the plastic.
Anybody got any idea how to get this off?

Beleive it or not I have heard peanut butter will remove the wax residue on black plastic. I personally would try washing it with a solution of Dawn dish soap, since that is what Zaino recommends fro stripping wax. By the way tray Zaino instead of wax, it doesn't leave that white residue.

Make sure it's creamy peanut butter :D

jk. Yea, try dawn soap and water 50%/50%. All else fails, try clay. But I think the dawn will do it

I had the same problem, and someone on this forum suggested Mother's Back to Black. It worked great getting off the wax that got on the black plastic. I had used Maguires at first, and had the white haze problem on black plastic.

I later rewaxed the car by using a lot of elbow grease and Dawn, and then used 3 coats of Zaino. It doesn't have the problem of showing up on plastic parts.
