honda civic? haha It doesn't matter what kind of exhaust you put on the 8, it will never sound anything like a civic..hahaa

I think the technical term you're looking for is 'fart can'

I bought a (Blitz) exhaust system because it is supposed to be a bit louder than stock and also a bit louder than RB, but not as loud as the Greddy or TurboXS. My TurboXS (very loud) system burnt the rear bumper shroud and because of this and other reasons I bought the Blitz. On second thoughts I decided to modify the TurboXS system because I will eventually go FI, (turbo/supercharger) and a 3" pipe is beneficial in that setup.
So if you want an exhaust system which is louder than stock or RacingBeat then this is a very nicely made system with those aforementioned attributes. The RX8 Renesis engine will never sound like a 4 stroke engine and is in fact a bit closer in sound to a 2 stroke engine. No exhaust system will ever make a rotary engine sound like a v8. Not even that Helix prototype system. It is a unique sound and for that reason one can only try to balance the sound volume with the tone that you like. I do admit I have never heard a Blitz system on an RX8, so my opinion is subjective and only a fitting of the system to the RX-8 can give you a true picture of its attributes. Give it a try it cant be any more benign than the stock system.
