A qwik intro...Names Mark and just bought a brand new 07 GT 8 with all the goodies. So fun! Im in the Seattle area. Want to learn more about this mezmorizing car! 200 miles and of course all is well....(cept!), stalled it about 4 times now. Been driving a clutch for about 20 years and dont stall, even on steep hills. Why is this thing so touchy? Have never driven a car quite like it, but still?? Anyways, hope its good to me for years. No modification plans, just want a good fun car to drive. Glad to meet all....please mail me with info or advise. Thanks and would be interested in meeting any RX8 owners in my area...

Welcome!

Maybe if you're used to driving tourqier cars the rx might give you problems, but i've got two years of ownership and not one stall. Go figure.

Just give it a little more gas than you would other MTs you've driven and you'll be fine.

Welcome.

The clutch takes a bit to get used to. Just rev it up a little more and get her moving. She likes to rev.

It all about what you are used to .
I have a lightweight fly & HD clutch and very rarely stall it even when launching from 1500 rpm or less .
