The fit and finish look good and I'm sure lots of work went into it. But IMO it is too kit carish. I prefer to enhance the look of the original car versus making it look like something else.

The kit would look cooler without the Maserati nose, and they could have easily done that.

I definitely like the maserati look with the front... very unique and strays away from rice look of some kits. I cant tell how well the front would look without the fenders... either looks good or complete crap. If it looks like crap, it could make it expensive seeing as the fenders would cost extra for those just looking for a front.

Just noticed that on the parts/price list they mention "eyeline-fender type B"... I'd be interested in seeing what that looks like but cant seem to find a picture on their site... anyone see it somewhere?

actually, if u look at that list, it says that there is a eyeline-fender-type-B, and a Front bumper type B; so if u subtract those 2 things, it turns out to be around 4538 total. Which isnt bad considering u dont need the roof spoiler and C pillar.

if u just get the basic kit (front bumper, sider skirts, door panels,front fenders,hood bar, and rear tail light combos) it comes out to about 3632. making it quite reasonable for such a unique kit, now it all comes down to shipping it to the US :banghead:

didnt even notice that... now I'm interested in seeing both the type B parts. Wonder if the type a bumper works with type B fender (and B bumper w/ A fenders)... Still not able to find the different versions... or I'm completely missing it.

Well, at the request of a PM I scanned through to find any ordering info (failed to find anything on that) though I did pick up a few details. They were aiming for an italian style. It came out this month (probably obvious). They do say it's ok to do just the bumper (though I'm still interested in seeing how that actually looks). still reading for now... gonna add more probably in a few minutes when I finish more.

The blue paragraph translates as follows:
full of italian taste. just the bumber is ok. full complete aero install is completely/flawless Euro (style I assume). it'll become italian style and be able to run

this was bugging me in the first few pics but i couldnt pick out exactly what was wrong until this larger pic.

the applique behind the rear window doesnt have the same line at the top as the added bit behind the c-pillar. the window applique dips down just before it meets with the c-pillar garnish so they dont flow togther correctly.

over all i like the kit. they put allot of time into getting it just right. i wish it had the Fabulous rear though;)

It seems strange to me that they change the look of almost every part of the car drastically except the rear. I'm pretty picky about the rear kits and from what I've seen I only like a few of them. I think they had a good opportunity to add something really nice to the rear of the car but they left it stock. Seems slightly strange to me.

I'm not a big fan of those lenses, they look too 1980's. I like the overall layout though, if I got those I'd get that black part painted blue to match my car.

I'm not sure if that price would be accurate. Duck's Garden is a Japanese company right? It would cost more to export them to the UK than to the US. I doubt it'd be 1400, but by the look of it they would still probably be way too expensive for most people.

The taillights would be so much nicer if they were clear colored plastic (or glass?) with LEDs. For exmaple, the red portion should be a pair of lines of 3 to 5 mm LEDs, or one line of 8 - 10 mm LEDs...

Otherwise, it looks worse as you get closer...

yup taillights suck the front end is nice but just not feeling it as what you would put on an 8 though.

Looks like they just slapped on pieces together from different cars and went half ASS.

A lot of people don't like it because it looks nothing like an RX8. Some people think the purpose of a body kit if to compliment the car, not change it.

I think this is great work. I'd love to see this kit in action. I doubt anyone would be able to recognize the car from the front or sides (the rear would need some work though).

besides the tail light and C-pillar i think they did a pretty good job in making the rx8 look like a maserati

So after taking a closer look, there are definitely subtle differences between the Type A and Type B models. While the A undeniably converts the 8 into something it's honestly not, I think the B is a very sleek look that serves the original purpose of a body kit: to accentuate the 8's natural good looks. It gets rid of the godawful stripe on the hood, opens the headlights up so that they're not just slits, and widens the openings on the front bumper.

All in all I'm very seriously considering the type B, and would love if anyone has any information on ordering to the US/accurate pricing

You know...if I was the designer of our beautiful RX8, I might be offended by what this kit does to the car. It completely destroys the vision of the 8. Body kits should accent the beauty of the car...not murder it. No point in doing this to the RX8. They should have used a less worthy car.

^^ actually I think the taillights are the worst of the whole package (I mean the Ducks Garden tails).
The RE Amemiya taillights are OK, but as it was said, they are so different from the RX-8 rear end that the car cannot even be considered an RX-8 as far as the exterior goes.

I like the Aston Martin body kit. But that "Mazdarati" kit is quit possibly the uggliest thing i have ever seen done to an rx8. Every freaking thing about it is just hideous. Everthing from the front to the tailights is a sin and a disgrace to the rx8. I seriously hope nobody actually bought this, and if you did....I feel sorry for you and even more for you car.

All I seem to like are the DG hood spoiler and the RE headlights. The rest looks pretty bunk.
