That's what I heard some loser yell out his window as he passed me in my 8 as I was coming home from work today. He was driving a Camry. Can you say jealous?

Maybe he had an extremely low IQ and thought your car was an amazingly beautiful, red bird and he was trying to communicate with it.

Since he had the IQ of a peanut, the only words in the 'bird language' that he knew was: "Cheap, Cheap"

Maybe by yelling "Cheap!" he was referring to himself, trying to justify why he didn't buy an 8 of his own. He wants to explain this to every nice car he passes!

Maybe it's Russian for...

"You must be an extremely intelligent person to select and drive such a magnificent motor car"

Short forms like this in the Russian language are rare, but there are a few surprises :D

When I was first married in 1985, I drove a henna red BMW 320i -- the cheapest and slowest BMW sold at that time. I bought it used. People would yell and give me the finger all the time for no reason I could determine. (My wife said it had to be my driving!!) The turn signals worked and I used them, I didn't block the fast lane, and I think I drove politely. BMW's were not especially well liked at the time, I guess. Remember the joke about the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The BMW has little pricks on the INSIDE. My friends (?) told me that one all the time! Seriously, people do make comments having nothing to do with anything you've done. It's their way of dealing with their own problems, I guess.
