Question Yokohama Advan Neova AD07

I came across this Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 in the Best Motoring Video in Oct. It is shown in the Mazdaspeed RX8, also in the Hot Version Fujita engineering mostly FEED component mod RX8...

Why this tyre... aren't they pure racing tyres? Are they durable?

I want some user experience if possible

TA :D

nop, they are pure street tyres but with compound so advanced, it just feel like slicks!!! I had used them on my previous car (turbocharged MRS with 245hp at the wheels), the car just sticks like glue. I had got them for my RX8 as well and the tyres are good. According to the people who got the tyres for me, the are two kinds of AD07, JDM & export set, something like JDM & EURO spec cars, mine is JDM specially imported from Japan, the compound is supposed to be very different.

Still running in my car, will go to Sepang track in KL, Malaysia to test out the car soon and will feedback on my timing and tyres.

Cool

Thanks Spyder! May I ask what the durability of the Neova... roughly how many km you can do in a set? Given that I am an average fanger - that means every day
