Got a guy at work that everytime I pass him in the hallways, he just smiles and says, "zoom zoom".

He never used to say anything, and now I feel like I'm being harassed because of my choice of a Mazda.

Should I just punch him in the nose, or call a lawyer ;)

Any suggestions?

I still think the lawyer is a good idea.

In a crash test article link on here, there's a cool picture of a guy getting hit by a car. Make a photocopy of that and hand it to him....no further explanation necessary. If I can find it, I'll post it

I have 2 guys that call me Speed Racer everytime I see them at work. I take it as a huge compliment. I see a lot of resemblence to the Mach 5 in the 8. Especially in the front fenders.

Maybe he's just expression his admiration of your... car. You could take him for a drive after work and go to a bar or something ;)

Seriously though, it might be his subtle way of saying 'nice car'.

That wont work, the CNN report shows the RX-8 as having a very pedestrian-friendly hood that will most likely ensure the survival of the person being rammed, definitely not something that will inspire fear to Syntrix's co-worker...

I still vote for the lawyer, definitely more vicious.

I have people at work say that to me all the time. They clearly mean it in a fun, complimentary way. I think it's pretty cool.

I said zoom zoom to my wife until she gave up and let me go get the 8 (even after owning 2 zoom zoom's).

I finally got a test drive yesterday. It was so badass I'm not even gonna try to describe it cause I just can't. And... I found out my car is built and "on water" meaning it is coming in Two Months ahead of schedule. So all day yesterday and even this morning I have had the zoom zoom song stuck in my head and I think my g/f is gonna break up with me soon if I say another thing even remotely about Mazda.

If you can't tell, I am a little bit excited about this car.
