What a crap review....
And the SO called Owners, calling the RX-8 ...BAD Value?? Low Quality??
Are they for real...are their comments referring to the car or the idiotic review...
Yes we know the RX-8 uses more fuel...(wow.. on average about 4-5 MPG),
stomp your foot into a V8 or a large 6 and see what the MPG is!
And a Noisy Engine??
And this....
"Take the Mazda 3 Speed engine and put it in the RX7 and have more power and better fuel ecomony".

some of those "reviews" read like a class of 3rd graders wrote them. i doubt that very few of those people bashing the 8 had any idea about what they were driving, instead, just spouting out what their buddy Steve said about it, since his brother's friend's cousin's friend who has a friend of a friend who had a lemon rotary engine said they suck.
oh well. haters, can't get rid of them.
and btw:
I LOVE MY RX-8!!

Frankly there are too many lazy drivers who simply enjoy pushing the pedel and feeling the rush of driving fast for a few seconds or speeding past a car in traffic.
I found, as many have on this board, that the Rx8 wasn't what I wanted but what I needed in a car.
There will always be haters...until they see you fly by on a turn and think "gee, I wonder how I can get me one of those."

I especialy like the guy who said that he should have bought a BMW. He said he took it on a long trip and had to stop every 2 or 3 fill ups to buy oil at WalMart. Why in the hell would he not simply buy three or 4 and keep them in the trunk. I get upset when I get down to my last bottle and have to get more immediatly. (I have to add a quart just before my oil change.)

You have to wonder how "real" these complaints are. I change my oil every four thousand miles, and I need a quart- maybe two- between those changes. I dont know of any owner who needs a quart after three fill ups- especially given the range of our cars and taking a long trip with lots of highway cruising. I set my "B" odometer to zero after a change, and check when it turns 1000. No biggie.
