If you're allowed to abort the baby before birth, I don't think they should be punished for hurting a 6 week old.

Same goes for a guy who punches his pregnant girlfriend and she loses the baby - he can be charged with murder, yet she can abort the child with the same result and not get jail time.

From a purely logical stand point anyway.

maybe we should scale it up - until you're a full human (adult) at 21, you can be retroactively aborted.

Personally though I rather enjoy my meat :) Nothing like some good pulled pork to ease those hunger pains.

There may be more to this story - CNN said child was born at home in a bathtub and never was taken to the hospital, parents may not have been raised in the U.S., CNN, about a year ago, said that the mother's milk did not come - (possibly she had too little protein in her diet). Child had something else wrong. Soy milk and coconut milk did not work. That means they had tried at least 3 different items.

Our gall bladder, and our inability to produce all needed amino acids indicates we require meat or at least some animal products. Eskimos can maintain health on an all meat diet, if some is eaten raw to gain the vitamin C.

Remember that paralyzed lady in Florida? She was killed by starvation and thirst - a judge declared it to be a painless and dignified way to die....

There is a second child - I wonder what will now happen to him....
