De La Hoya can win but this is his toughest fight. He needs to drop combonations on Mayweather and knock him out somewhere around the 6th or later. IF the fight goes to desicion then Mayweather will win.

Just the opposite.

The longer the fight goes, the better chance De LaHoya has.

La Hoya has got to contain a much harder punching and faster younger fighter, and in the process, rob him of quite a bit of energy, in the earlier rounds, while avoiding any major damage.

Not an easy task.

I believe Mayweather will win the fight. He's not inexperienced, he is not soft, and De LaHoya's time has come and gone - he's lost 2 out of his last 4 fights.

De LaHoya can win. But he probably won't.

I'd say the bigger question is:

Does anyone give a shit about boxing anymore? Clearly not.

There's just not enough talent out there... or not enough hype to help the talented fighters.
