**SOLD**
Hey guys,
The new car has arrived so the price on the RX8 has been lowered. I've added a few more pictures here: http://expo.live.com/ViewListing.aspx?lid=4417142
Price is OBO at $22999, I bought this car brand new from Lee Johnson Mazda last June so even though it is an 05, the car still has 36mns basic warranty and 48mns of powertrain warranty left (this is extended for 05s, have letter from Mazda).
Spec is here (http://expo.live.com/ViewListing.aspx?lid=4417142).
Thanks for looking! Car is in great condition and garaged at home and work.

Damn good luck... I guess it's too late now but why no trade in? With the tax credit you get here in WA I basically got $23.5k on my trade... Only took a $350 hit, on a car I was expecting to bathe in...
Also, if the new car is here, where's the pictures?

What tax credit are you talking about? Since I'm still relatively new to WA I'm still learning a few lil' nifty things like this.

One the tax credit piece, in WA (maybe other states too) when you trade in a car, you get tax credit on the trade-in price. i.e. you trade your car in for $10000 and the sale tax is 8.9%, you actually get a total of 10890. Note: you always get less for a trade in value than private sales, so you have to weigh the choice for yourself.
On the new car piece, it isn't brand new but new to me :) I had a very close friend leave the U.S. and he had to leave behind his 04 STI so I bought it private sales from him and thus not enabling the trade option. (on a side note, I rarely trade in though have done ita few times due to ease of transaction).
I don't have any pictures of the STI yet sorry... Too busy driving it :) I really like the RX8, and for that matter this forum, people are helpful here. But given the good deal on the STI and its AWD abilities, i had to go for it!!! I still hope to meet some of you in person someday, I work in Redmond and I see RX8s all the time.

Yeah This was Totally alien to me but came in damned handy, and really sealed the deal so to speak.
Doug's Gave BMW of Seattle $21k for my RX-8. I was sort of Ho-Hum about this as it was going to leave me with a couple grand owing on a car I've had for a year.
BUT
With the Tax credit on my trade in of roughly $2400 or around there applied to my new Car, it worked out pretty well. You can pretty much add the tax credit to what they offer you on a trade in and THAT is actually what you are getting out of the deal.
So, made trading the car in and not having to worry about selling it on my own a much more attractive option.
