So last night I drove about 25 miles from my gf's house when on the last 2 miles i shift into 3rd and my tranny starts to make a rattling noise. 1st 2nd and 3rd rattle/grind and 4th and 6th make a humming noise but 5th is normal. The car still drives fine but something was def. wrong. I took it to the garage 2day so hopefully it gets fixed soon. Has anyone else had this problem or do you guys know what it could be. The garage says they think its a bearing in the tranny cause my input shaft to bounce around causeing it to rattle. Thanks for any help guys.
