The last weekday meet we held at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Overland Park was a real hit. I propose we meet every couple months at various BWW locations in the metro.

So to kick off our BWW tour, let's try:

I managed to put my front splash guards on w/o too much trouble and I'm mechanically inept. However, I did have the directions which helped immensely.

The Independence BWW is right off I-70, which may be a good bet for those coming from the KS side. That gets my vote. Can we do 7 though? We have a graduation party that day, not sure how long it will go.

To get to the BWW Independence, take I-70 East to Little Blue Parkway. Exit and go left. Turn left on Jackson into the shopping center, and BWW will be on the right.

Thanks a lot for the welcome. I but purchased my "8" about 3 weeks ago and my whip is a bone stock 6sp. that has a gun metal color. The only thing I've done is tint the window and purchased a crap bra (for the car) that dosen't look right.

I can do a Sunday, Matt have you figured out your tick? dealer said my noise was the aux port but I'm not sure if autos have those? but I have heard of a few other things that cause ticks, like air bubbles in the heater core I believe there is a TSB on it.

But seeing as BWW is one of my favorite restaurants and I'm always up for meeting new people thqat share the same interests, I'll definitly be up for another time! By the way Webgrl I thought I saw your car because I reconize the spoiler and didnt you park away from everybody else but a spot opened as we were all talking and you moved to be closer to the other 8's? If that wasnt you then I must not have seen your car yet.

Yeah, we try to do it about once a month, but no set schedule... Also, that was my car, but it's Titanium Gray, not silver, so that's why I thought you were talking about Matt's car (which is Sunlight Silver). I am the only one in the area with the x-men spoiler - at least that I know of.

I got an envelope in the mail the other day with a note on the outside which read "Important maintenance information regarding your Mazda" Apparently, it should have read "Has it been more than 20,000 miles since your last engine? It might be time for a new one."

Engine number 3 is on order... should be installed in the next 2 weeks. So I doubt I will have the car in time for the meet. :( Who all is still going?

Btw, when I put my car in the shop, I saw SHOWOFF's TiGray on the lift... man that car is a beaut. Shop Manager said it was getting a new engine as well. C'est la vie, I suppose.

Yes, I took my car to Rob Sight based on the feedback I've gotten from Chris and some of the others at recent meets. The last meet we had at Chili's, I was complaining about the car "choking out" or not having as much power. So I took it in and they said it had low compression.

I won't be able to make the meet this Saturday. Besides not having the car, it's also family night at my son's cub scout camp.

I typically get out of work at 3pm (I work an early morning shift) so a meet during the week works fine by me.

Maybe a Wednesday night kind of deal? Just meet up at a food-joint of some sort and kick back? I like doing mid-week things.

So how does the Sunday the 23rd sound? We could meet up at any of the BBW's. Just throwin out a date cause no one really seems to be runnin with it!

Well how about Sun, Mon, Thur, Fri, night at a BWW or even tonight if its not to short of notice say about 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, all have rain and snow so they're out. What day works best for everyone? Then we can hash out a location.
